Dr. Uddin is a board-certified psychiatrist recognized by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He provides expert psychiatric evaluations tailored to individual needs. He does not specialize in forensic psychiatry or conduct HIMS evaluations.
Examination Includes:
Extensive Records Review
Dr. Uddin conducts a thorough review of all available records to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the individual’s psychiatric history. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Academic and educational records
- Outpatient psychiatric notes and hospital records
- Psychotherapy and counseling notes
- Social work documentation
- Neuropsychological evaluations
- Any other relevant mental health treatment records
To ensure the most accurate and informed assessment, clients are strongly encouraged to provide the most complete and detailed records available.
Comprehensive Clinical Interview
Each evaluation includes an in-depth clinical interview, which gathers detailed information on the individual’s:
- Psychiatric, psychosocial, and developmental history
- Academic and occupational performance
- Legal history and involvement
- Substance use or abuse history (including any treatment or recovery)
- Aviation background and flight experience (if applicable)
- General medical history and current medication use
The interview also includes a formal mental status examination (MSE), in which Dr. Uddin observes and documents current cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Diagnostic Summary and Recommendations
Following the assessment, Dr. Uddin provides an integrated and evidence-based report, which includes:
- Clinical findings and behavioral observations
- Diagnoses, if applicable
- Professional opinion on the individual’s psychiatric and functional status
- Specific recommendations for treatment, medication management, therapy, counseling, rehabilitation, or ongoing monitoring as appropriate
More Specific Evaluations:

- SSRI initial certification/recertification/follow-up clearance
- Weight loss management
- ADHD: History of ADHD or history of taking ADHD medications

Fee and Deposit:
A $400 deposit is required to schedule the evaluation. Additional fees may apply based on the scope and complexity of the case.
