Telemedicine Psychiatry Services in Kansas and Missouri

Telemedicine services at KC Psychiatry & Primary Care allow adults in Kansas and Missouri to meet with Dr. Asif Uddin through a secure remote appointment when virtual care is clinically appropriate. Telemedicine can make it easier to receive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, follow-up care, and treatment planning without traveling to the office.

This service may be helpful for adults managing anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, mood changes, sleep problems, stress-related symptoms, medication questions, or ongoing psychiatric care needs. Telemedicine can also support follow-up visits after a psychiatric evaluation or continued care through comprehensive psychiatric and primary care.

During a telemedicine appointment, Dr. Uddin reviews current symptoms, medications, side effects, treatment progress, sleep, appetite, mood, focus, stressors, and any changes in daily functioning. Depending on the reason for the visit, the appointment may include diagnostic discussion, medication planning, treatment adjustments, follow-up recommendations, or coordination with other care needs.

Telemedicine may be appropriate for medication follow-up, treatment-plan review, adult ADHD care, anxiety and depression care, and selected primary care or weight-related concerns. Patients seeking support for focus, impulsivity, organization, or attention concerns may also benefit from adult ADHD treatment in Kansas City. Patients whose care involves appetite, medication effects, or metabolic concerns may need a weight management evaluation.

Not every situation is appropriate for telemedicine. Some symptoms, medications, safety concerns, medical conditions, lab needs, or administrative requirements may require an in-person visit or additional coordination. Dr. Uddin will determine whether remote care is appropriate based on clinical needs, location, and the type of appointment requested.

KC Psychiatry & Primary Care does not accept insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, federal, or commercial insurance plans. The practice is self-pay, and pricing is reviewed before scheduling so patients understand costs in advance.

Telemedicine appointments are available only when clinically appropriate and permitted for the patient’s location. To request a virtual psychiatry appointment or follow-up visit, use the schedule appointment page.
